ENS
Case
Regeneration of jaw bone.
Summer 2021
Female 54 years old
Broken LL6 molar
After regular treatment with ENS, pain caused by the broken tooth was greatly alleviated. Unfortunately, there was extensive infection under the broken molar which had majorly impacted the density of the bone in the jaw.
Professional diagnosis / prognosis:
The advice from the dental surgeon was a bone augmentation in order to grow enough bone tissue to be able to imbed an implant
After the initial consultation with the dental surgeon plus a CT scan to confirm the findings we had a 6-week window before the dental work could begin.
Weekly intensive sessions with ENS were administered – this would involve 2-3 sessions within a 24-hour period with the device.
Alongside this, ensued a supportive diet high in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory foods- completely organic and eating within 60-minute time frames with no snacking in between
Plus 2-3 litres of hydration per day
There were additional sessions with Asyra Qest4 to gain insight into specific nutritional and emotional requirements
Yoga was used to connect the body with the mind and the intention for healing.
On returning to the dentist 6 weeks later and further inspection of the jaw and damaged tooth – it was decided that the rate of the growth of the tissue was so good that the implant could go ahead alongside the augmentation without waiting for the jaw bone to integrate with the augmentation that would have provided the scaffold. It was now strong enough on its own.
The broken tooth was extracted and the implant imbedded without complication.
There will be follow up sessions over the course of the next 12 weeks with ENS to ensure strong and robust healing despite the anticipation of the surgeon that the replacement teeth might have to wait a few more weeks for the recovery to be complete! We anticipate far less time! Notes to be added as and when!
